2010 Port Douglas Carnivale Tin Shed Fashion Awards

Vintage Tropical Glam retro style is the theme this year for the 2nd annual 2010 Tin Shed Fashion Awards hosted by the Port Douglas Combined Club where aspiring young designers and retailers will strut their stuff on the runway with the magnificent views overlooking the Dickson Inlet as a backdrop.

THE NEW DECK, NEW SAILS, NEW KITCHEN

With the new deck securely in place with two majestic white sails and the new pontoon and ramp, we can now, with a brand new team, work towards the kind of club that we have all worked so hard for over the years.

THE RESULTS OF THE MEMBERS SURVEY ARE NOW AVAILABLE

As members will be aware, the committee commissioned The 20 20 Group to assist with developing a long term stategic business plan for the club. One of the elements recommended in the plan was a members survey where we asked members to provide input and feedback .

ABOUT US

The Port Douglas & District Combined Clubs Inc is a Not For Profit organisation with a strong affinity with the history, culture and community of Port Douglas and the surrounding areas Today, it steadfastly maintains its traditions of yesterday with strong links to the marine activities of Port Douglas and the true spirit of the vibrant local community in this splendid natural heritage listed destination.

Over the years, the Combined Club or Tin Shed as it is more widely known has grown to become one of the preferred social meeting places for locals and visitors from all around Australia and the world are so welcome.

Come and enjoy the magic of the Tin Shed and the glorious views from the large deck out over Dickson’s Inlet to the mountain range beyond..

The Club is open 7 days a week with lunch served from 11.30am to 2.00pm. Dinner from 5.00 to 8.30pm.

PARENTS PLEASE NOTE: Children under the age of 18 years are not permitted in the Gaming Room under Queensland Law. Proof of age will apply if the staff are in doubt.
