Port Douglas Community service Network Inc. is an established and trusted part of the community. Originally founded by local community members over 30 years ago by local community members in response to a critical lack of access to childcare, reflecting a strong history of community-led problem solving. PDSCN continues to develop strong, enduring partnerships with local community groups, networks, organisations and services providers across the Douglas Shire.
The Tin Shed is proud to be donating $5,000 towards support PDSCN’s Child Protection Week Family Fun Day. This important day raises awareness of child protection, promotes child-safe communities, and strengthen connections between families and local support services. The funding will support the delivery of a safe, high-quality event, ensuring the event remains free, accessible, and impactful for all families in the community.
